The International Institute for Health & Wellness, holds semi-annual meetings at its laboratory/conference office in Springville, Utah. These twice yearly meetings allow the Board of Trustees and the Advisory Board of Governors of the non-profit research organization to gather and discuss the progress of the 6 year old institution, and to plan its' future. Because of the tireless efforts of many board members the IIHW has been able to accomplish very significant goals utilizing minimal financial resources. Each meeting discusses the goals and progress of the various commercial projects the IIHW is assisting to make viable: New Health Tech, Inc., a Nevada medical equipment company; Ever- | ||||
| Gro Technologies, Inc., a Utah
agricultural product company; Waste Tire Recyclers, N.A. a New
Mexico based solid waste recycler, and Vitae-Myte for Life a Utah
nutritional food supplement company. In addition, the IIHW supports
and has several non-profit affiliates with which it works: City of
Refuge a Texas based national prison ministry; the World Education
Center a Utah based scholarship support organization; Rio Verde
University-Soil Science Labs--the IIHW has a joint arrangement with
RVU on laboratory research; American Family Partners of Texas; Rio
Verde University of Juarez, MEX. The IIHW also formerly sponsored
New Beginnings & Second Chances-UT, and the Inner Strength and Truth
Foundation of CA. Says executive director Jen Ottens: "it is the
goal of the IIHW to help people in as many facets of daily life as
possible". We are grateful to all of our supporters, grant
sponsors, donors and volunteers for their support. Most recently
the IIHW was honored by the "Sociedad de Substancia Inorganica" of
Mexico City, Mexico for its' joint research
project/presentation with Rio Verde University. The IIHW and RVU
researchers presented a paper on the effects of trace mineral
deficiencies in teens for a regional SEMANART conference in Mazatlan ,
MEX. The project was directed by lead researcher David Rosen MD PhD
of RVU-Juarez, and soil researcher Auriel R. Combs PhD JD of the
